Modulating "Smart" Water Heater Saves Money!
The LAARS Rheos modulating "smart" water heating boiler is a breakthrough in commercial heating system design. Now, for the first time, engineers and heating contractors can choose a single, high-efficiency, low-cost system for commercial installations requiring up to 2.4 MBH (input).

The Rheos saves fuel and runs more efficiently :LAARS Rheos Modulating Boiler

For smooth, quiet starts, the Rheos starts up at low-fire (50%), automatically increasing its firing rate (up to 100%) in response to the demand for heat, and decreasing it as the load diminishes. This proportional firing control system can save owners up to 30% in fuel costs over conventional, non-modulating systems.

Further fuel savings and a minimum steady-state combustion efficiency of 87% are achieved with a self-monitoring sealed combustion system that uses a powerful variable-speed blower to force filtered outside air directly into the unit (no inside air is used) to intensify combustion by delivering a precisely measured mixture of fuel and air under pressure to the burner, and, finally, forcing the toxic byproducts of the combustion process outside of the building and into the atmosphere.

The Rheos also features a patented, high-density, secondary copper heat exchanger with a unique double-row finned tube design that maximizes heating surface area and yields the highest heat transfer per square foot of floor space in the industry.

Compact, space-saving footprint is less than 34½ inches wide and will easily pass through a standard doorway. In fact, the Rheos only takes up half the floor space of conventional units. In addition, flexible horizontal or vertical venting options and low clearances allow placement virtually anywhere.
