Replace conventional atmospheric non-condensing hot water heaters with the Laars Mark II 9600 HWG Hot Water Generator and reduce annual operating costs by 40%.

The Laars Mark II 9600 HWG is a gas-fired condensing hot water heating boiler that uses a secondary stainless steel heat exchanger to deliver combustion efficiencies as high as 90% and thermal efficiencies as high as 96% by capturing heat that would normally be lost up the chimney and transferring it into the water flowing through unit. Its compact, low mass design eliminates the standby and radiation losses typically suffered by larger storage-type water heating boilers because the HWG's heat exchanger heats instantly upon demand.   Pilotless, self-monitoring sealed combustion system is direct-vented and does not require a metal chimney or flue or draft inducer. A built-in fan draws all combustion air from outdoors through a plastic pipe and forces it back out of the unit through a separate plastic pipe. Standard PVC, CPVC or ABS plastic piping may be used.   The HWG, weighing between 222 to 235 pounds, can be installed on combustible floors and requires only 1" clearance to combustibles from the jacket.   Submittal Data Owner's Manual
